The society has instituted certain awards constituted/formulated by the ECE from time to time to be presented during the inaugural and valedictory functions of the Annual Convention and National/International Conferences/seminars, such as,
- Lifetime Achievement Award to the senior LM (at least for 5 years) of the society, who has contributed immensely to the profession and the society in particular. The awardee is selected unanimously by the CEC of SVSBT, and the award consists of a Scroll, Citation & Certificate.
- SVSBT Fellows and Associate Fellows Awards (2 each every year), with prescribed fees, based on applications received in the prescribed format along with all supporting evidences as single PDF in email, by the July 31st of each year and scrutinized by the jury of 4 members nominated by the President. Application form in word format can be had from the President/Secretary on request through email at ajdhami59@gmail.com or WhatsApp No. 9898262498. - LUVAS Translational Innovation Award of SVSBT to recognize and encourage outstanding translational research and innovation in Veterinary/Animal Biotechnology. Applications received in the prescribed format along with all supporting evidences as single PDF in email, by the July 31st of each year will be scrutinized by the jury of 5 members. Application form in word format can be had from the President/Secretary on request through email at ajdhami59@gmail.com or WhatsApp No. 9898262498. (to be implemented from 2027; Rules, Form & Scorecard Attached).
- The Outstanding Veterinary Graduate of the Year Award of the SVSBT, one for founder institute, Veterinary College, Mhow, and another one the host institute/college of the concerned conference. The nominations of topers from the respective colleges are sought from concerned Dean/Principal before the event, and both the awardees are honored with a Silver Medal and a Certificate during the inaugural session.
- Best Research Paper (I & II) and Best Clinical Case Report Awards for articles published by the LMs in the society journal IJVSBT during the previous calendar year of the concerned conference/ seminar. Applications received in prescribed format through e-mail ajdhami58@gmail.com by the July 31st of the year along with a PDF copy of published article (no hard copy) in a particular volume of IJVSBT by the President/ Secretary, SVSBT, are scrutinized by the jury of 4 members nominated by the President. Every author of selected paper gets an appreciation certificate and the first author gets cash prize also during the inaugural session. (Rules & Format Attached)
- Appreciation/Felicitation of the organizing secretary of the immediate past Convention and Seminar/Conference of the Society.
- Session-wise Best Oral and Poster presentation Awards for PG/PhD students and faculties, separately, in each Annual Conference, competitively decided by the respective juries. All the winners are honored with the appreciation certificates during the valedictory session.
- Travel Grant to Young Scientists/Students: In the students/young scientists category, the first best presenter in each session gets travel grant of Rs. 2000/- (Two thousand only) in cash along with the appreciation certificate during the valedictory session.
- Under a special Young Scientist Presentation session of invited candidates, one Best Student and Faculty out of 3 each will be honored with a Certificate, a trophy/Memento and a Cash Award of Rs. 2,500/- (Two thousand five hundred only) during the valedictory.
- Any other award(s) constituted from time to time in future.
Note: For SVSBT Fellows and Associate Fellows Awards, and LUVAS Translational Innovation Award of SVSBT, the applications must be sent through e-mail only in 2 separate PDFs (Part-1 & II) to the President/ Secretary at ajdhami59@gmail.com in a prescribed format with self-assessed scorecard (Part-I) and all other supporting documents for each claim, including only the first page of published papers, in chronological order of application duly numbered from 1 to last page (Part-II). No score will be given for any claim without documentary proof.
